1. Safety Guidelines

To ensure the safe use of the product, please always adhere to the following guidelines:

• Follow the instructions carefully: It is essential to follow the user instructions.
• Understand and comply with local regulations and legal requirements: Be aware of and comply with the regulations and legal aspects of each country where the product is used.
• Do not exceed the product's specifications: Avoid using the product beyond its specified limits (pressure, force, temperature, and other environmental conditions).
• Consider the surrounding environment: Before using the product, take into account the environment (temperature, humidity, dust, etc.).
• Avoid areas with high vibration or shock: Do not use the product in locations with excessive vibration, shock, or where it could negatively impact the sensor's operation.
• Do not modify the product: The product should not be altered or modified in any way.
• Remove all packaging materials: Ensure that all packaging materials used during delivery (such as wrappers, boxes, etc.) are removed before use.
• Separate and recycle parts: When disposing of the product, separate and recycle any reusable components.
• Do not pull cables forcefully: Avoid pulling cables with excessive force.
• Remove dust and pressure media: Remove any dust or pressure media that could cause overpressure before installing the pressure sensor.
• Use the correct installation procedure: During installation, be sure to tighten using the threaded parts appropriately.
• Do not perform wiring while power is on: Avoid doing wiring work when the power is live.
• Avoid repeated bending or heavy loading of cables: Prevent cables from being bent repeatedly, pulled, or subjected to heavy loads.
• Avoid high-frequency noise and surge areas: Do not use the product near strong high-frequency noise sources or surge-prone areas.
• Perform maintenance with power off: Conduct maintenance and inspections only after disconnecting the power supply.
• Regular maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance as needed.

2. Operating Principle

The pressure sensor is designed to send a signal to the control panel when the set pressure is reached. The pressure can be adjusted within the range of use according to the user's requirements.

The diaphragm and piston move in response to rising pressure and operate based on the set pressure of the spring and the actual applied pressure.

When the deformation of the diaphragm and the movement of the piston reach the set pressure, the contacts make contact, and a signal is generated at this point.

3. Pressure Setting Method

a) Supply the desired pressure to the ML Pressure Switch.

b) First, use a screwdriver to turn the adjustment screw (3) as far down as possible (this will increase the pressure setting value).

c) Supply pneumatic or hydraulic pressure to the ML pressure sensor (pressure gauge is needed).

d) Slowly turn the adjustment screw (3) to set the desired pressure.

e) Verify that the pressure sensor operates correctly at the desired pressure by checking it more than 5 times.
