IK Electric: A Living History of the Korean Motor Industry

"IK Electric has been leading the history of Korea’s motor industry since the 1970s, specializing in the production of electric motors. One of the key features of our motors is their sleek design and the Air Flow Technology, which maximizes cooling efficiency. This combination results in what we proudly call the most beautiful industrial motors in the world.

Our product line is divided into single-phase and three-phase induction motors. Initially, we produced only IP20-rated motors, but we have now succeeded in achieving IP55 ratings for both single-phase and three-phase motors using electronic relay technology. This advancement allows us to expand beyond the low-cost motor market and meet diverse customer demands. Now, our single-phase motors can be applied to pumps and machine tools, where they were previously limited.

Unlike other manufacturers, whose motors often require complicated lead wire connections, all of our motors come with terminal blocks. This makes installation easier and prevents disconnection or wiring errors, ensuring smooth operation. In addition to producing motors that comply with IEC standards, we manufacture motors specifically designed for machine tools and pumps, as well as high-pressure and turbo blowers."
